GTM INFRASTRUCTURE HEAD INTRODUCES CONTRACTOR FOR R2.4 MILLION DAN PHASE 2 ELECTRIFICATION PROJECT

Greater Tzaneen Municipality Infrastructure Head Cllr Conny Ramothwala has introduced EMM Trading Projects as the contractor for the R2.4 million Dan Phase 2 Electrification Project in Ward 18.
The project, handed over to the community at El-Shaddai Church in Nkomanini on 13 August 2026, will provide electricity to 100 households and is expected to be completed by 17 February 2027. NSK Electrical and Construction is the consulting engineer.
Cllr Ramothwala said CLO and SHE Rep positions would be advertised for locals, while four EPWP workers would be appointed. Beneficiary Thulani Rikhotso welcomed the project, saying residents had waited a long time for electricity and were grateful for its arrival.
