MAYOR MOLAPISANE WELCOMES 34 NEW RECRUITS

Tzaneen, August 1, 2024 — The Mayor of the Greater Tzaneen Municipality, Councillor Gerson Molapisane, welcomed 34 new recruits to the municipality today. Speaking to the new employees on their first day, he urged them to serve the community with dedication.

Mayor Molapisane mentioned that people often complain about poor service from the government. He said this happens because some government employees neglected their responsibilities. He stressed the importance of hard work and commitment in serving the community, which he said we’re in desperate need for government services.

Most of the new recruits will be working in the Community Services Department as general workers. The new permanent employees spent their first day going through an induction program to learn about the operations of the municipality.

The Mayor expressed hope that these new recruits will help improve service delivery and make a positive impact in the community.
