LIMPOPO LEGISLATURE IS CURRENTLY HOLDING PUBLIC HEARING ON BASIC EDUCATION AMENDMENT BILL ALSO KNOWN AS BELA.

The Limpopo provincial government is conducting public hearings on the Basic Education Amendment Bill (BELA) and today they're in Mopani District, Greater Tzaneen Municipality at the Tzaneen Country Lodge.

The aim of the public hearing is to repeal some of the problematic sections in the current laws. The hearing Will be hosted in all the five districts of the province in which Mopani is part.

The hearing is attended by education stakeholders including Councillors and Ward Committee members responsible for education portfolio in their respective wards amongst others.
