Freedom Front Plus proportional councillor in the Tzaneen Local Municipality André Moss has been appointed as the new Member of the Provincial Legislature for Limpopo and will be sworn in on Tuesday.

His appointment follows the passing of the party’s provincial leader Marcelle Maritz earlier this month

FFPlus CEO Pieter De Necker, says Moss will work to strengthen cooperation between the provincial and local spheres of government, with a particular focus on assisting municipalities in repairing decaying infrastructure.

De Necker has highlighted Moss’s extensive experience in the police service and notes that, like his predecessor, he will focus primarily on rural safety.

He says Moss will also advocate for the protection of the province’s farmers and their workers.
