MME MPITI RETIRES AFTER 20 YEARS OF EXEMPLARY SERVICE AT GREATER TZANEEN MUNICIPALITY

After two decades of dedicated service, Mrs. Mosebudi Gloria Mpiti bids farewell to the Greater Tzaneen Municipality (GTM) as she embarks on her well-deserved retirement.

Mrs. Mpiti began her journey with GTM in September 2003, assuming the role of Assistant Cashier in what was then known as the Strategy and Development Department, now rebranded as Planning and Economic Development.

Over the years, she diligently served in her capacity as a cashier, demonstrating unwavering commitment to the municipality and its constituents..

Reflecting on her tenure, Mrs. Mpiti expressed gratitude for the trust bestowed upon her, stating, "For the past 20 years, I've been working with money, and I was very careful with the municipality's finances."

Her dedication to fiscal responsibility and ethical conduct is evident, as she proudly attests to never having faced disciplinary action or warnings for misconduct. She attributes her success to treating the municipality's resources as her own business and always prioritizing its interests..

In her heartfelt farewell, Mrs. Mpiti extended her appreciation to numerous individuals who supported her throughout her career. She fondly remembered the late Masilo Monyela, her colleague the late Samson Mkhabele, and Doreen Popela for their warm welcome to the municipality.

Additionally, she expressed gratitude to current colleagues such as Patric Maake, Rona Viljoen, Mihloti Shirinda, Carin Brummer, and the entire revenue and GTM team for fostering a sense of belonging during her tenure.

As she transitions into retirement, Mrs. Mpiti acknowledges that she will miss her customers dearly and assures them that she is now a pensioner. She leaves behind a legacy of professionalism, integrity, and dedication to service.
